THE HOSTEL LIFE
This place starts feeling like home over time, and I'm happy I got to live the hostel life - those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Staying in a hostel gives you the freedom to manage your time, but the rule of fixed hours for going out can be a bit of a bummer. But to balance things out, you've got roommates, and I lucked out with good ones. You can have all the fun you've dreamed of, like watching late-night horror movies and giving someone a good scare, or the entire hostel shouting 'Inkalam Zindabad' as soon as the night begins to fade away on Independence Day. These kinds of crazy experiences are what I've always wanted.
Every day, there's a plan to sneak out somewhere and escape these strict checks and boundaries, much like crossing the LOC border. Nobody misses the opportunity to bellyache over the mess food. Moreover, to make the most of hostel life, you need to become skilled at socializing. Remember, the most fun is had with people, not with your phones while staying back in your room. Get out and explore. There are two possibilities that can unfold: either it becomes the best experience you have or a challenging one - embrace both.
Here's a little taste of what a holiday morning looks like: It's a sunny morning, and the sun's gentle touch on the trees makes them shine in a bright green colour that's a real treat for the eyes. Breathing in the fresh air feels like a soothing balm for the soul. The trees seem to be having a chat with nature, and the birds with the sky. Everyone's going about their business quietly and peacefully. This unique experience is something you can truly enjoy early in the morning.
